Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire, 20 (sf) polled much better than expected, and was eliminated on the last count in carrigaline lea of cork coco, beating Micheal Martin's brother, and polling 1500

Just for accuracy re the list of young FG-ers in Town Councils -- it's Emma (not Emer) Kiernan, and its Newbridge (not Naas) Town Council.

The younger councilors seem to be doing much better down the country then in Dublin and by younger I mean 19 and 20. I would be a guy who would love to run for the council but I couldn't see many people warming to the idea of Dublin councils being overrun by 19 year olds, anyone disagree?
