Declan Ganley is a true Irish hero. He is someone who has stood up against the establishment in an attempt to highlight key concerns of the Irish people. I hope he continues to speak out against the Lisbon Treaty (ahead of the rerun). He is a bright Irish light in the darkness!

Please read what you wrote. Declan Ganley is an Irish man, a husband, a father of four young children, a grandson, a son, a brother and a beckon of hope to us all! You actually wrote that you want to dance on the man's grave. The sickness of your comment and your totally obvious disrespect for people is shocking. Your heart must be filled with such hatred to write these disgusting words against a good man whom you probably have never had the privilege to meet!

Declan Ganley is the most honest, good-natured man you could meet. He did phenomenal in the North-West for a first-timer and considering he only entered the political stage twelve months beforehand. I hope he plays a part in the upcoming referendum and stays on in Irish politics. Ireland needs someone like him.

Hopefully we have not heard the last of him in Irish politics.

This thread is also open to appreciators of Mary Lou McDonald and Kathy Sinnott.

NB. Left-wing haters and EU federalists not welcome. (BTW, We still won the Lisbon referendum, don't ever forget it!).
Declan Ganley was a breath of fresh AIR in a cesspool of degenerate, nepitistic, arrogant, self flagellating, condescending, overpaid, useless collection of scum that hog the seat of Dail Eireann. Who don't represent the majority of the people that elected them, will we ever learn. Declan, best of luck in your future endeavours
