De Burca really has a lot to answer for and the fact that she's a senator after receiving such a low vote really makes a farce of the Seanad.

The returning officer should tell De Burca where to go.

By the way, I don't think McKenna can take any encouragement from beating De Burca. She performed as dreadful as De Burca.

Three European election counts have been adjourned while a recheck is under way in Dublin.
    - Fine Gael's Gay Mitchell and Labour's Proinsias de Rossa will be elected, Socialist Joe Higgins may have the edge for the final seat, but sitting MEPs Eoin Ryan of Fianna Fáil and Mary Lou McDonald of Sinn Féin are not out of contention yet.

Any radio stations covering this. Wanted to go to the pub after seeing joe take the seat but thanks to De Burca she has delayed the whole process. How on earth she had any thought that she would get in is beyond me. Terrible Politician
