He got a decent whack of transfers from De Burca so. How did her other 17,000 votes transfer?

Interesting to note that Higgins got about 500 more of DeBurca's transfers than MLM. Ryan only gained an extra 300 on Higgins.

RTÉ News: Elections 2009 - DUBLIN

There's a tab halway down on the RHS that gives count by count details.

Neither Mitchell's surplus, nor PMK's transfers will be enough for MLM to catch up. I would say that he'll push further ahead if anything.

Princess got a sizeable chunk from De Burca didn't he? 7,000 votes.

McKenna's votes probably won't do the same. More likely to go to MLM and Higgins with Higgins picking up slightly more, enough to keep him ahead.

    Surely his seat.

Thats if MLM gets eliminated. The gap her and JH them is narrowing though I'll admit its narrowing at a small enough rate. This will be seen to the bitter end.

Though to be honest at this stage I'd bet on Higgins to win.

I hope JH gets it, and I think he will.
