    Wouldn't bother with McKenna.

    Poll time

It has always occured to me on this site

that the Labour party and the Socialists are over represented

and that Independant/Non party and Fianna Fail are underepresented.

Yeah, I know how it works. It's funny, I expect her to poll significantly above this so my bote probably will get transferred. When she's so safe though, what's the harm in making sure mine does get used? I think the other guy will need it.

The left are well represented here (Lab, SF, SP, GP) and the right, well bar the Lib folks, FF and FG are under represented. Independents like myself, I think are represented fairly enough given our numbers.

It's a bit foolish to say that independents as a group are over- or under-represented, or represented at all.

Some people have more time on their hands to do multiple votes.

Vote early and vote often, eh.

It is a poor substitute for rational argument.
I agree that opposition is important in a democracy, that's why I believe Euroskeptic and anti-Lisbon candidates should of course be allowed to run for election, but that doesn't mean I have to vote for them. I would rather be represented by people who are enthusiastic about our membership of the EU. If "anti-Europe" annoys you then replace it with "anti-EU".

You are wrong but don't let prejudice change your opinion. I really don't know any anti-EU Sinn Féin people among my friends.
