given her inconsistency on so many other things it would not surprise me, though i don't remember that particular "gem" from Ms deB
Enda Kenny on FF government: “We’re in this mess, not because Fianna Fáil policies have failed, but because they have succeeded.”

I was not impressed by her work on the Gaza campaign. She was simply happy to protest, but unprepared to call on the irish government to take any real action.

She supported the local needs clause in the Wicklow County Development Plan, which required applicants for one-off houses in Wicklow to be from Wicklow or have some sort of connection that required them to live in Wicklow. This was by way of preventing the sprawl of Dublin out into the rural areas of the county.

Loads of counties have similar clauses in their plans.
Worth breaking my "no sig" rule for:

She said she'll bring "Thouands" of green jobs to Dublin.

She lied about her literature being made from recycled paper.

But looking on the positive side, she doesn't support kneecapping, breaking teenagers' legs with baseball bats or shooting gardai.....

What's all this mischievous black propaganda from the political elite against Deirdre de Burca the Green Party. She would make a wonderful MEP compared to the usual dross dressed up as Irish politicians.

You guys must be starting to worry about a Green seat in Dublin?
