As we all know, Weather sometimes plays an important role in irish politics during polling day! Indeed (rightly or wrongly) some would say that during polling day for the divorce referendum there was good weather in more liberal dublin and poor weather in the more conservative west that palpably affected the outcome of the vote!
It may be safe to assume that turnout will be higher (by how much who knows) with good weather than with a miserable day but the question is this:
Is good weather gona bring more people out to give FF a pasting or will good weather and hight turnout ensure that most of their core vote will definitely come out and ensure things are not as bad as could be??
any thoughts on the likely benefactors?
Indeed to posters here give much credance to the role of weather on polling day?
Regards,
(has been a while!)
