Joe Higgins suffered too post his cheerleading the Afghani scammers occupying St Patrick's Cathedral a few years ago.

I said at the time it would cost him and so it proved to be the case.

Now anything to do with 'Immigrant Rights' has the status of 'Don't mention the War' in their [SP] handouts!

Campaign Watch An example to the big boys (and girls)

Interesting, every other party has adapted to a changing Ireland-

Is it that Sinn Fein dont appeal to an ordinary migrant worker-

Or that the party chose not to field any applicants???

Would like to hear from SF voters.....
how strange ,given that they favor mass immigration ,one reason their vote stagnated.

Research into the last election points to Irish voters being different to other european voters when it comes to issues of social concern like mass immigration. At present, in the Irish case voters tend to vote further to the left, rather than to the right. So if it makes sense, SF were not left extreme enough and not anti-establishment enough to pick up the anti-mass immigration vote. I'd like to see some polling done on the matter, and some more research into voting patterns on these issues.

Would the fact that a lot of immigrants probably aren't interested in Irish unity not have anything to do with it?

You know this isn't true. We just do not favour racism or prejudice against people. That being said I do not support unlimited migration into Ireland. For all it's faults I like Ireland the way it is now. An Islamic, Hindu, Sikh or Eastern Othrodox Christian Ireland has little appeal to me personally but scapegoating people isn't having debate about migration.

Purely as a matter of interest what part of it are you living in?

Donegal for work, Derry is my home/family home Donegal. There are however many Polish people in Derry so we have our fair share of migrants. We have less Black or Asian people than Dublin or other larger cities.

    OK Thanks for the reply.

But come out and live in Blanchardstown in Dublin West and you mightn't like it so much....
