Thats my point. How come every other party found great new irish candidates. Is it sinn fein problem that they dont attract new irish members. Or is it that party chiefs feel immigrants wont sell image of catholic nationalist ireland that is at core of sf image? SF probably copped on after the 2007 elections that supporting mass immigration had done them harm. They have noticeablz moved away from such overt support but the hangover still lingers I think. trots were clever enough not to mention the subject in their literature and you can be sure that anti immigration voters voted for PBP etc as part of protest against overall situation.
