    Elections on P.ie

    Greetings.

I was wondering if there was any plans from the upper echelons on how to manage the site during the forthcoming elections?

If I could make a suggestion, it would be that we create three threads on the by-elections, the Euro elections and the local elections. So this would be the first port of call to visitors to the website, without having to check through the various side topics and threads that will be inundating the site.

The mods would need to be on their toes to cull any repeated threads and keep things clean. Now, I'm not suggesting we dictate what people can and can't post, all I'm interested is maximising the use that this website can be to its members and the public.

There is another advantage to P.ie and that is with having a clean interface on election news, the site is more likely to be viewed and quoted by the media and the political establishment.

People may already have plans in place to this, and the more experienced members may have their own views. My purpose is merely to start the ball rolling.

    Thank you.
