Donoghue in todays IT

God (can I write that any more? anyway) Miriam Lord writing in today’s IT didn’t do Paschal Donoghoe any favours! The photo they used makes him out to be a bit of a Fr Doogle. Then in the piece she goes on to mention his "short attention span". Vicious!

Mass effort as FG's Enda and Paschal target churchgoers

If Miriam Lord is what you class as vicious incisive commentary, then God love you.

Ah she's a tough job, amking that stuff humourous and she does a great job. Very witty most of the time. You got to be able to give and take it.

I wouldn't worry about it, if I were he. Her job as a journalist is to be nasty and funny in equal measure and she succeeds in that article.

Much more interesting is Sam Smyth's parroting of the FF line in todays Independent. They are clearly trying to run down Donohoe's chances. FF must be feeling the pressure!!!

I thought the article was ok.

Miriam says that Enda has now taken over the anorak from Bertie.

She also said that Pascal has plenty of brass neck.

Might be time to put a little money on Pascal.

Anyway, FF have more things to worry about than getting no-hoper Mossie elected.
Has anone asked him yet if he gave back the over-70s medical card?

I look forward to a similarly "humorous" piece from Lord on Ivana's campaign, though I'm not holding my breath.

I think the title on this thread should be:

    Anoraks, The Tolka and Enda

... says it all really about the link. Great Headline!

Actually I kinda like the stuff that Lord is doing on the elections. Essentially she has to make an interesting story from something very very dull.
