Yet they tell the Green members to not necessarily support FF.

So the only way for the parliamentary party to take notice is if they hear it from Green supporters. Tell them you won't dance to their tune of not supporting FF, unless they lead by example.

We will have three more years of this sh8te government unless you pull thee plug.

I fear you are right. I like to vote green, but because of their support for FF I will not be voting for them. As far as I can see the only way to get that scum out of office is to vote for FG, even though they would not be my first choice.

    Ta for that Dave...

from that article Gormley states.......QUOTE>>Asked what was the “bottom line” for the Greens in the current Government, he replied: “The bottom line is the implementation of the programme for government. If our partners in Government were to refuse to implement an aspect of the programme which we felt was extremely important then, of course, we would have to reconsider our position>>>END QUOTE

And sure now they want to rethink the programme....I hope that means they're thinking its time to exit """stage right"""""!!!

I think there's real panic in the Greens. They have ideas alright, but they've backed the wrong horse at the wrong time to deliver them. It's dawning on many that there's a good chance they'll get creamed where it really hurts (LG seats). Also Gormley regrettably sounds like an old FF hand with a very poor take on cynical realpolitik. IMO, he's misreading the public sentiment which is at this stage looking for blood, no matter what shade of green.

The current shenanigans about "bottom lines" is a really half-assed attempt to put some dirty brown water between themselves and FF pond-life. Too little too late, I fear.

Not me, so I won't challenge you on the "sympathy" for the Greens front!!

For my own part, I don't see the Greens as bad people. I just think they've shown bad judgement. Gormley acted as a kind of pied piper, but now that he's distinctly off-tune, I sense the grass-roots are prepared to change theirs.
