In fairness, I've been saying this since last year, they have no hope in Britain, even keeping their deposits would be good work. It doesn't reflect on how they'll do in Ireland (Ganley will take a seat), nor on how they might do in central and Eastern Europe (I don't know enough about those places to predict). I said all this the day they announced they were running in Britain,I still stand by it.

The problem in the North is that Libertas are pro the British Army and run by a former British officer, Robin Matthews, in the UK and NI.

They are also running a former Brit officer who fought in the North in the UK
Libertas? Nein Danke! Say NO to Europe's New Right Wing: Libertas UK candidate served in British Army in Northern Ireland during Troubles and ran for James Goldsmith in 2 general elections in the UK
Declan Ganley has done it again recruiting a former British Army officer in the Blues and Royals Carlo de Chair to run for Libertas

    That fraction is 0%:

The anti-Europe vote is already monopolised by UKIP and the Tories.

The fascist, racist, homophobe vote is already monopolised by the BNP.

So Libertas were crowded out of their two target-markets before they had even started

A large part of their problem is that they are not Eurosceptic. If they were, they might have a better chance (though probably still not)...
