FF Abusing the position of Dublin Lord Major

FF vans parked at Mansion House

Fine Gael Dublin South Central Deputy Catherine Byrne has written to the City Manager to object to the Lord Mayor of Dublin parking Fianna Fáil campaign vehicles in the forecourt of the Mansion House. As a former Lord Mayor herself, Deputy Byrne said that the position of first citizen of Dublin should not be used for political gain.

“For the last number of days I have observed a number of campaign vehicles parked in the forecourt of the Mansion House emblazoned with political slogans. It is my understanding that the position of Lord Mayor should not be used for political gain and I consider this inappropriate behaviour and an abuse of the office of first citizen. I have requested that the City Manager take action on this serious matter.”

When their vans are parked out front you would want to be careful that one of them, isn't sneaking in the back to rob the house.

Are they related? And using a non-story to generate publicity for both of them? Mind you at least the Catherine member of the Byrne family has a profile, the other one is only fameous for starting Christmas on the 9th November.
If the banks are out for a bail,
and Lenny's efforts end up as a fail,
    when the Somer does come,
    to the Country they'll run,
And leave a Fine mess for the Gael.

Endinf the one Party (FF) state:
