Quote of the week from Maurice Ahern just now -

I think the people are grateful to FF, Bertie and me
Just how out of touch is this guy?

Maurice really is pathetic. I am surprised at how bad he is. He is really out of his depth and living in the past. In arguably the most difficult election in Central's history, FF seem to have picked an absolute dud.

Despite his funny voice methinks the FG guy has it. Bacik is just too "foreign" for them and, given that it is a bye election, people won't have the luxury of voting an independent in. FG in the bag methinks.

It's Ireland. The men are ugly and women never get elected.

Because if you do that the wife of the Prime Minister divorces him and you get all kinds of bad publicity plus a belt of the crozier from a vatican Cardinal!! Poor old Silvio!!
