Yes, but it makes Libertas look bad so it can be posted over and over again.

Unlike this, for example, which none of the avid followers of Libertas news though to post up... http://www.politics.ie/blogs/cookiem...-libertas.html

I like Walesa, he's a good and honourable man and attempts made here by people attempting to discredit him on the basis of his association with Libertas were shameful.

And with this comment this thread is now bound to be dragged off topic so I will bid it adieu.
    A poster of some consequence...

Eh? For one, I already said I regard him as a European hero. What I thought was shameful was Libertas and its wealthy founder abusing his financial circumstances in order to shill for a cause he doesn't actually support.

So it is now €100K. Previously it was meant to be €50K. Orginally it was meant to be free.

Libertas just gets murkier and murkier.

Lech Walesa is a traitor of the Polish working class. He completely sold them down the river following the collapse of Stalinism. He asset stripped the country and let the IMF and international capitalists run riot. This man is not a hero, he is a traitor. He belongs with the rest of the filth in Libertas.

Asset stripping? would that parallel with Ganley getting aluminium at 10% of the market value on two months credit terms at the age of 23 from Russians in the early 90s?
mayge Herr Ganley and Lech have more in common that met the eye at first.

Whether it was €50k or €100k, it's still a damn sight more than an 'honorarium'!

How much did the Liga Polskich Rodzin (LPR, League of Polish Families) contribute do you think?
