I asked Sharon McHugh yesterday in Paddy Power to give me odds on Fine Gael taking both seats in Dublin Central (Senator Paschal Donohue) and Dublin South (George Lee).
I've just gotten an email back from PaddyPower. They've priced it at 3/1.

That simply cannot be right.
Lee is 1/2 to win DS.
Donohue would have to be a rank outsider to win DC for double odds of 3/1.
Any idea what George Lee is on his own?
Can't access PP in work but if it's evens I fancy a large wager on it.
This is the email....

George Lee is 1/2 by himself.

Can we avail of those odds on the site or only in the shops?
I'd expect longer odds than that. If FF do as badly as predicted their transfers will decide the seats and FFers are not likely to go for FGers - especially when it comes to Lee. The funny thing is that FG would have a far better chance of the seats if the FF vote was to hold up. Labour transfers would then elect the FG candidates.
