    Hi Anorak,

The odds are probably not going to be to your liking but there are numerous factors to be taken into account. It's almost a related contingency. Obviously we've seen a move in favour more so of FG already. If FG do well in the by-elections and there's an overall swing towards them then the general view will be that they'll do well in each constituency also, so it's not a straight double as such.

Such markets will not be appearing on our website but we do offer on request occasionally.

For FG to win both by-elections and at least 5 euro seats the odds are 4/1.

5 euro seats and 2 by-elections would be an astonishing electoral feat for FG.

4/1 seems a bit mean! I wouldn't consider it great value. (After all you were offering 3/1 on the by-election double on its own earlier today........)

It would need to go out to 6 before I would be tempted

I am also looking at where would the more conservative vote in FG's total go. Bacik? Forget it, devisive candidate. O'Sullivan? the conservative FG vote is coming from the other more affluent end of the constituency.

You know what? FF could yet pull this off.

As i said before F.G have to take the votes of F.F not an easy task with Bertie around,
F.G will not get votes from the left, however ,if Pascal is as popular as we hear he should do it

"Earlier today" - not so - the 3/1 odds were cut yesterday and I don't need to explain how fast things move in politics!! as well you all know!!

The demise of Fianna Fail is the only good thing to come out of this down turn. They have ruined this nation 3 times in its short life, but like a reoccurring ailment -up they pop again and again. 1930s, 1977-1981, 2002 onwards they drove this nation to the brink of economic suicide 3 times. If the Irish people had any sense they would have rid us of them decades ago. They represent the peasant grab all you can from the centre mentality. Only idiots buy their party of the people clap trap. They abandoned any real claim to be the people's party in the 1960s when they were bought by builders.

Most generous odds ever. Both are odds on with Celtic.

    Sharon,

correctly predicted that I would not like your odds

That's not bookmaking that price is what a friend of mine calls a "we don't want your business price".

Got just over 11/2 with Celtic for same bet (4/5 five or more and 1/8 and 9/4 two by elections) and a kindly ex PP employee gave me 6/1 in a modest size.

    thanks anyway

For the last time, not all those who voted for Bertie are FF votes! The same is true for all parties and all candidates. Sure the core FFers won't vote for FG but they're not the ones that other people looking to appeal to.

I'm sick to the back teeth of this idea that every last vote for party X is a X party vote. They're not.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.
