Ah now. They're pretty bloody awful alright, and certainly one of the most useless, lazy and incompetent administrations we've had, but the worst ever?

We had governments in the past that were actively hell-bent on wrecking the place. All of them between 1966 and 1987 for a start. Might be fun to have a poll...

Which was the absolute worst administration since the 1950s? (we'll ignore the ones before that because it'll just turn into a load of arguing over Dev)

    a) Jack Lynch 1966-1973 - frittering away the Lemass boom, utter failure on the north
    b) Consgrave Junta 1973-77 - The Cruiser, Section 31, Dublin/Monaghan
    c) Lynch again 77-80 - the infamous 77 manifesto and all that followed
    d) Haughey's GUBU Nation, 1982
    e) Garrett The Good, 1982-87, bunch of dithering debt-junkies
    f) Ahern The Inscrutable, 1997-2006 - Whatever you do, do nothing, unless the builders make a few bob from it

I personally think everyone from 97 to 97 did a decent enough job. Sure there were mistakes, scandals etc. but overall they were all positive administrations for the country. Feel free to disagree
Jesus now that is a hard lot of option's?

Cosgrave, Garrett, Lynch. Who oh who?

No big secret that the Building Industry and FF share the same sack in a more than cosy relationship.

So the Building Trade is booming and FF are in power....surprise surprise surprise...

TBH I think this Government rates as the worst we have ever had.

    Why: Complete lack of Vision.

And to compound the situation the opposition in the Dail is absolutely Pathetic.- Lucky for your lot though!

The only Party worthy of calling itself an active opposition is the somewhat eccentric 'Uncle' Joe Higgins and he is unlikley to be parking his hide on a TD's bench after the next G.E. anyway.

    Cry my Beloved Country!
Yea and man never landed on the moon, Elvis is alive, etc etc

What is it about lefties and conspiracy theories?

Huh, you should try the Bridge House in Tullamore on a Thursday night where your likely to be asked if you have road frontage or the size of your…………..milk quota, classy birds.

I am disappointed though, if I have lost the ability to spark an angry reaction out of the Shinners then this website is out of uses for me.

We've decided to try to kill you with kindness. Now, if your inviting me to Tullamore, will you be buying drink ?
