GE likely, FG ditch Enda Kenny

As news breaks from Leinster House about possible coup in FF and likely General Election, FG have called a panic meeting in a refridgerated unit beside a house with a very large extension in Tipperary to shaft Enda "Obi Wan" Kenny. Smart money (borrowed from Simon Coveneys communion money) says that Darth Varadkar is the "Force" behind this stellar plan.

Ok, so I'm playing around a bit here, lets face it there's lots of baseless rumours flying around tonight.

But on the serious side, just imagine there was a grain of truth in some of the rumours and a snap General Election was likely to be called, would FG actually be totally comfortable with Enda going into it?

I think they would be way more confident with Richard Bruton at the helm

Changing leader right before an election would be quite literally the stupidest thing a party could do, it inevitably leads to massive instability and much more, so the answer to your question if a snap general election was called Enda Kenny would definitly lead FG into it.

That’s leaving aside Enda bringing FG to its strongest position in the polls since early 80’s etc.

Actually Enda will thrive in a general election... ...as he did in the last one.Imo he's the best FG leader at the moment.Richard Bruton is good but he tends to get rattled and the voice becomes shrill.Enda Kenny,in contrast,is quite cool and thoughtful under pressure.Watch him soar.Don't forget that John Bruton was regarded as a lightweight by the media until he became Taoiseach.Looking back, now, on those halcyon days of 1994 to 1997 ,when we last experienced responsible, progressive and competent government,it would make you cry when it is compared to the criminal buffoons the Irish people, in their gross and selfish stupidy, elected in 1997 and subsequently.

Sorry but Kenny was an Average leader in 2007. Everyboyd says oh but he has gained alot of seats but sorry FG were at a low point they had no where else to go but up.

He is your Neil Kinnock not your Tony Blair. FG are doing well in spite of Kenny not because of him, I would bet if he stepped down tomorrow FGs poll rating would not change at all.

Now dont get me wrong, i hope FG do keep Kenny because as long as he is there i think Cowen can beat him in a GE.

You can always tell FG are having a good week and FF are in the sh1ts when FFers start creating dumb threads saying FG is doing to change leader. Anything to distract the country from the lump of blubber running FF into the ground, I suppose.

FFers on this site are clearly becoming desparate!

baseless rumours? I think the economic data does your party justice. FF are done, they are toast. The Greens are keeping them alive at the moment, but not for much longer. We are not in America, its not Cowen VS Kenny ( wish it was ). Its about ideas ( FF have ideas to enrich their property and bank friends , FG have daft ideas, but FG ideas wont wreck the country as badly as FF).

We need a new interim government, and lets see what happens after that.

Enough is Enough. FF must go now.

They come and go very quickly, yet spell and use the same grammar. They are clearly FF lads, prob on the payroll of mount street.
