So how many Irish jobs has Declan Ganley created?

Based on his new poster campaign, Libertas is claiming that Declan Ganley has a "record of job creation and success in business".

Libertas unveils Euro poll billboard campaign - The Irish Times - Wed, Apr 08, 2009

I would be reasonably familiar with the Irish business scene, but I never heard of Declan Ganley before the launch of Libertas. I am aware only of three jobs that he has created and those are for Libertas staff members.

Given that he is quoting this on his billboards, I think it is a fair question to ask how many jobs he has created (and where?) and what businesses was he successful with (and how successful was he?).

That picture on the article is ridiculous. As if Cowen, Kenny and Gilmore are bosom buddies. It's like The Sun school of political propoganda.

who is blaming Ganley? I'm asking a legitimate question about someone who aspires to be a public rep based on their own billboard campaign.

When it comes to Lisbon they are. There is no difference at all in their policies on that question and none of them are interested in representing the views of No voters.

They are entitled to their opinion but people are also entitled to point out how close they are on it.

Gilmore and Kenny never made donations to FF, unlike Ganley.

    Facts, not politics.
Ireland interests are best secured within a more dynamic EU. Vote YES to Lisbon.

My problem with the poster campaign is that it takes aim at TDs rather than the MEPs Ganley is competing against. Its a bait and switch tactic. Don't fight on the issues. Dont even fight your opponents. Pick a fight with random famous people and try and distract the public from what they are actually voting on.

It would have been just as honest and logical as:

"Madonna, a record of taking other people's children.
Ganley, a record of producing his own children,
    Change the system, vote Libertas."
"Who will bailout the IMF after FF is finished with them?"

In fairness he has lied about Jim Higgins and smeared him since he (Ganley) launched his campaign.

btw your Madonna line is hilarious!

This is best summary I've found online of his business interests pre Rivada and pre Libertas (It's a five year old interview about the launch of his failed "premium taxi" venture)

Interview: Daire O'Brien: Prepared to take the broadband picture - Times Online

Hard to ascertain how many Irish jobs were involved, his tent at the Galway Races would surely have engaged some caterers and party planners, additional I'm sure he needs staff to tend to his estate (butler, gardener, pantry maid etc)
