Some, like me, were called Libertas supporters by you and others, despite repeatedly proving otherwise, and were basically hounded off these threads. I stopped posting as a result. It became futile and extremely unpleasant. If Libertas are massively defeated in June it will be for the reasons I gave months ago, particularly that they have vastly over-reached themselves by campaigning in places like Britain where they are on a hiding to nothing, in other words hubris could defeat them. It won't be because of a single smear factoid posted here or on your blog. And please stop persisting with the lie that you and others were made to leave because of anti-Libertas leanings (you're here again aren't you?), you were made to leave because of spamming, smears against the site, and offensiveness. In my view there was a ridiculous degree of indulgence by P.ie, based on a fear of being accused of the very thing you now accuse P.ie of, a political silencing job. If I had been a mod you'd all have been got rid of a good two months earlier at least...

You have defended the indefensible over and over again, essentially you have claimed to be left wing and have gone all soft and mushy over anti abortionists aqnd Libertas because you can see no wrong with the anti abortionist being a devout catholic of the far right persuasion. Perhaps it is only in religious matters that you have decided Ganley is great but either way you deserved to be challenged vigorously as you attempts to seem responsible were stomach turning when you were actually supporting the most extreme and corrupt political entity and people to have emerged in Europe since the 1920s.

Every single thing you posted there is a lie. I support Libertas because they are anti-abortion (I don't support them and if I did it wouldn't be because of that, and how does being a Catholic make me 'far-right'?). I have defended the 'indefensible' (whatever that means - it's all part of this vague miasma of undefined smear where even asking for clarification is 'collusion in corruption'). I am trying to 'rehabilitate' myself (by stating things that I can easily prove I posted here months and months ago). And now both I and cookie are David Cochrane!!!

Hm. To be fair, we're not short on obsessives attacking the EU. I think eurosceptic starts a new anti-EU thread every time his neuron fires, even if it involves digging up 2-year old articles or bemoaning the way Lisbon would have meant we would be "forced" to assist the Italians if they asked. I don't think there's any suggestion that he'll be silenced either.
