According to a story on SME.sk, Ganley was looking for candidates in Slovakia:
Will Libertas also stand among us?Bude kandidovať Libertas aj u nás?
...
Slovenských kandidátov sa Ganleymu hľadá ťažko.
...
Do tretej ráno v Bratislave Ganley sedel aj s autorom daňovej reformy Richardom Sulíkom zo strany Sloboda a solidarita. „Dostali sme ponuku na spoluprácu, ktorú zvažujeme,“ povedal Sulík.
...
Ganley is looking hard for Slovakian candidates.
...
On the third morning in Bratislava, Ganley sat with the author of the tax reform, Richard Sulík of the Sloboda a Solidarita party. "We received an offer of co-operation, which we're considering" said Sulík.
It doesn't look like that offer was accepted, given that there's no mention of Libertas on the Sloboda a Solidarita website.
The story also says that, although the head of the KDS party agrees with Ganley's criticisms of Brussels and the Lisbon Treaty, running candidates under the Libertas brand would be a problem, and that KDS and OKS will jointly run candidates:
Although KDS chief Vladimír Palko shares Ganley's criticisms of Brussels and the Lisbon Treaty, candidacies under the Libertas brand are a problem. There will still be joint KDS and OKS candidates.Hoci šéf KDS Vladimír Palko sa s Ganleyho kritikou Bruselu a Lisabonskej zmluvy stotožňuje, s kandidatúrou pod značkou Libertas má problém. Spoločná kandidátka KDS a OKS zatiaľ zostáva.
That's borne out by the fact that 'Konzervatívni demokrati Slovenska - Občianska konzervatívna strana'* is one of the groups who've registered a list of candidates according to the Slovak electoral authorities.
*KDS - Slovak Conservative Democrats. OKS - Civic Conservative Party.
Finally:
No high-profile Libertas candidates in Slovakia
Libertas leader Declan Ganley visited Bratislava in February 2008 in an attempt to recruit prominent figures to run in the European elections for Libertas. He met conservative politicians like Ján Čarnogurský, a former prime minister of Slovakia from the KDH party, Vladimir Palko, a former minister of justice from the KDS (conservative democrats who have split from KDH), Peter Osuský and Ondrej Dostál from the OKS (non-parliamentary conservative party) and Richard Sulík, the founder of a new liberal political party (Freedom and Solidarity) [Sloboda a Solidarita].
These politicians, however, are almost all running in the European elections under their own banners. Thus far, Libertas has neither revealed any official candidates, nor whether it intends to run in the Slovak elections.

Who exactly has Libertas recruited in eastern europe. Everytime I hear Ganley asked about the type and nature of his alliances, he just shouts ''thats a lie, your a lier, thats a lie, your wrong'. I really find it to be overly aggressive and frankly, it looks to me that its a game of bluff, the more he tries to shout 'outraged', the more im inclined to believe the so called 'lies', and not believe him.
The parties he's tried to associate with (or has associated with) are often fringe parties.
For example, the excellent English-language Slovakian political blog, pozorblog, has this to say about a January opinion poll carried out by FOCUS, one of the main Slovakian pollsters:
KDS (Slovak Conservative Democrats), one of the parties Libertas was in discussions with, didn't win any seats in the 2006 elections, but four members of the KDH (Christian Democrat Movement) left and formed the KDS in July 2008:Finally, FOCUS has decided to continue with its addition of small parties–KDS, ZS and LIGA. Each of these parties did better than in the previous month of polling by FOCUS: ZS rose from 0.4% to 1.0%, almost identical to its 1.1% result in UVVM polls. KDS rose from 0.3% to 0.6% (at the same time that KDH rose several points) in the FOCUS poll. LIGA rose from 0.3% to 0.4%. So far SaS is present on the polling list only of MVK and we do not have MVK numbers for January or February.
2006 General Election results:
Direction - Social Democracy (SMER) 671,185 votes, 29.1%, 50 seats
Slovak Democratic and Christian Union - Democratic Party (SDKÚ-DS) 422,815 votes, 18.4% 31 seats
Slovak National Party (SNS) 270,230 votes, 11.7%, 20 seats
Hungarian Coalition Party (SMK-MKP) 269,111 votes, 11.7%, 20 seats
People's Party - Movement for a Democratic Slovakia (ĽS-HZDS) 202,540 votes, 8.8%, 15 seats
Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) 191,443 votes, 8.3%, 14 seats*
Communist Party of Slovakia (KSS) 89,418 votes, 3.9% 0 seats
Alliance of the New Citizen (ANO) 32,775 votes, 1.4%, 0 seats
Others 153,622 votes, 6.7%, 0 seats.
*4 members left and formed KDS.
Latest poll results show that the KDS wouldn't win any seats if a general election was held now.
František Mikloško, the KDS candidate for the Slovak presidential election (won by the incumbent, Ivan Gašparovič, in the second round yesterday), only got 5.4% of votes in the first round:
Ivan Gašparovič 876,061, 46.7%
Iveta Radičová 713,735, 38.1%
František Mikloško 101,573, 5.4%
Zuzana Martináková 96,035, 5.1%
Milan Melník 45,985, 2.5%
Dagmara Bollová 21,378, 1.1%
Milan Sidor 20,862, 1.1%
At present, KDS (and their allies, OKS) are both fringe parties in Slovakia. The recently formed Sloboda a Solidarita party (which Libertas discussed co-operation with) is too new to have made an impact on opinion polls yet.

In Latvia the former prime minister is running for Libertas along with 8 others, former ministers, academics, economists and business.
In Lithuania one of the country's top lawyers and one the Lithuanian president's closest advisors are running for Libertas.
In the Czech Republic, two members of the current governing party and a sitting MEP will run for Libertas.
One candidate in France is well know, but the rest are purposely ignored. There are about 50 candidates in Germany and also a candidate in Malta and Declan and Ray O'Malley in Ireland. Italy, Spain and the UK to be announced soon.
The list goes on and on. No nazis, no right wing monsters etc...

A poster of some consequence...
What candidates in Germany? Libertas Partei Deutschland has not registered a national list of candidates and has not registered a list of candidates in individual federal states.
As of 3 April, seven federal states have confirmed which parties have registered candidate lists. Libertas Partei Deutschland is not registered in any of those seven states which have a combined population of approximately 37,497,000 out of a total German population of over 82,500,000.
