    Clonmel Local Elections 2009

What will happen? Molloy says he may leave FF if the Carers Allowance is pulled though he does not say if that will be before election

A lot of FF are going on solo runs. Stragety is to mop up disenchanted FF voters.
If not eleceted second preferences will transfer to some FF candidates.
If elected, go back into the fold or just prop up FF

That'd be an unfair comment about Ritchie Moloy. Ritchie is as decent a guy as you will meet, and is and has been very very involved in the Carers Association for years. That is one issue where cutbacks would be a very valid reason for him leaving FF, and if he did so, it would be with all sincerity

It may, to you, be an unfair comment. But whoever said politics was a fair game?

In general though on a wider scale what is it going to be. How will WUAG do? I read three of their members left? I can only recall Ryan and Prendergast. Who is the third

And a politician from whatever hue is part of the political landscape that has the country where it is today and it's that landscape that is lashing out and cuting back on carers funding.
And my dear friend, Richie is a part of that landscape. Like it or not Richie signed up voluntary to join the body politik.
