It would be a huge mistake to replace FF with FG in next election

While FF have to go there is no point looking towards FG. In many ways FG would be even worse. Right now we are seeing lot's of opportunism from FG pretending they care about people. Maybe FG's cuts would have been different but they would have been even more devastating. They would have cut wages, went back on the pay deal (because it was too high!!!), attacked pensions, sacked frontline public sector workers and completely and utterly bent over for big business. FG are even worse than FF for taking the sids of big business over workers. Don't vote FF or FG, a real alternative is needed to these two parties of big business and gombeen men.

Surely a partie which encourages free markets would suit these times better? Eh Bobo?
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

It's certainly a possibility, people are drawing different political conclusions from recent events and many of these will be left wing ones which are anti the establishment parties. Alot of people realise that these mainstream parties all came down in the same shower and would all do similar if not the exact same things in gvt.

I'd rather swallow razor baldes than attend a blueshirt rally. Go on, tell me what FGs plans for the public sector are over the next 5 years?

You do know the next GE isn't until 2012, right?
