    Latest Ipsos MORI Poll: Tories 52%, Labour 24%, Lib Dems 12%

    http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/blog/archives/1391

    <Shudder>

    If confirmed, it's especially grating for the Lib Dems considering Nick Clegg just told their conference that they were 'headed for government'.

    Confirmed in the Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstop ... tcher.html
    INTJ | Economic L/R: -8.50 | Social Lib/Auth: -8.51

    If true it underlines that we will not be alone if we hold out against Lisbon until the GE in the UK.

    I've put these numbers into the BBCs simulator and it would give us the follow HoC;

    Conservatives : 582
    Labour : 34
    Liberal Democrats : 1
    Others (NI parties, SNP & PC) : 29

    Way to go Gordie!!!
    The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

    Yes indeed.
    Hopefully the conservatives will be in power soon and will drive a stake through the heart of the EU .

    We need to see an electable opposition first.

    Hopefully the conservatives will be in power soon and will drive a stake through the heart of the EU .
    For all their bluster on the EU (mainly to appease the eurosceptic wing of the party) the Conservatives have done little or nothing to prevent deeper EU integration. Maggie Thatcher signed up to the Single European Act and John Major signed up to the Treaty of Maastricht with a few minor opt-outs.

    The real process of deeper integration began with these two treaties. EU treaties since then have only been refinements.

    I wonder will this encourage more members of the Labour parliamentary party to go against Gordon Brown?

    Surely it must be worth the risk at this stage?
