iceman, I was just pointing out that too many people accept FF dominance of Irish life as a foregone conclusion and that they shouldn't.I didn't intend to mis-represent what you wrote. On Election Day everybody starts off from the same no.of votes and anything can happen.A swing to the opposition on a bad day for FF could well see a new Government.

Looks like the Greens got their 5% in NZ and will be back in Governent.

Please God, no. I was hoping for a National-ACT coalition.

That's just immaturity MJ. You'll grow out of it.

Yeah I use that line quite often as well.

Apparently ACT NZ have done quite poorly. What is with people that they don't vote for decent parties?

    ROTFL!

MJ, just because people laugh every time a grown up says that to you, it doesn't mean it'll be funny when you use it - well, it will be funny, just not for the reason you think.

Sorry SPN, they lost 2% and 3 seats. They're back in government, but they've work to do!

Yeah, but they needed 5% to kick in the list.

Here's hoping the news from Germany will be as good. A new Maggie Thatcher is the last thing Europe needs just now.
