Gino Kelly will lose his seat. Weakest Sol-PBP TD by a mile.

FG 2 likely beneficiary it would seem, though McNally was 5th in 2016.

Iím unashamedly in the Lavelle camp. Of course, Iím not William, he doesnít lower himself to dealing with trolls. But he would make a fine TD.

His self sacrifice is praiseworthy. You only have to go on any Facebook site in Lucan to see how popular Cllr Lavelle is. He is the only port of call when many queries are raised, or else the first person to be tagged. He is so popular that people said they were afraid to lose him to national politics. If begrudgers donít like the facts thatís their problem, not mine.

If you aren't William then your praise for him is just embarrasingly over the top. He isn't the second coming of Christ FFS and your lack of perspective means you're not very credible as a cheerleader.

    Contenders for last seat

So after Frances, EOB and JC who is next?

Clearly I believe that having Cllr Emer Higgins in the south will enable FG with vote management to get a second seat. But to be fair there are a number of contenders. Only a few votes separated McNally, Keating, Tuffy and Gogarty last time on the first count. And if Kennyís vote is down 30pc as predicted (natural slippage and 1,000 to Ruth Nolan which wonít all come back when sheís eliminated) then he is reachable.

By count 9 in 2016 the results were Kenny 6331 Tuffy 2515 Gogarty 3164 Keating 2725 McNally 3235. A small shift can push different candidates ahead.

    Higgins

If Emer gets vote management she will benefit from transfers and be ahead of McNally all the way. Her getting 4K FP votes will leave her ahead.

    Tuffy

If Labour get any sort of boost she will take some McNally vote and get ahead of Gogarty on the first count and grab some Lucan transfers. Not likely but certainly possible.

    Gogarty

Tuffy transferred to Keating last time and put him just ahead of Gogarty. Itís not impossible that Gogarty with his mayoral publicity boost could edge ahead this time and transfers from Tuffy and McNally and (hopefully not) Higgins jump him over Kenny.

    McNally

Her campaign was more about social media than having done any work on the ground and while sheís knocking on doors she has no record of actually doing anything for anyone. The SDs peaked last time. Sheíll get up to 95pc of 2016 votes but no more and could suffer if Tuffy makes a comeback. She still has to be considered a possible.

Nobody outside these four has a snowballs chance of taking Gino Kennyís very vulnerable seat. Iíve been balanced and looked at other contenders besides our own. If other posters do the same we can have an interesting discussion rather than just pushing our own people.

Nobody is fooled by your keating fan alias and if you think fine gael havnt noted what has been posted by keating fan over the last few years then you are a total idiot. You have become toxic. Best you just stop posting and start to build bridges in fine gael

    Will Gogarty be a candidate?
