I'd say there were bits of Frances on the walls of the Parliamentary Party meeting room after Wednesday night, but I'll find out a bit more about that over the weekend.
If he found out this on the Saturday, why didn't he act then?

The problem for Leo is if you go balls out as he has a tendency to do, you either need to be 100% sure of your ground, he wasn't, or you have to be quick enough to get them out of the way before someone brings the hammer down, again, he wasn't.

Apart from having a very sore pair, will he have learned lessons do you think?
Maybe, but not the ones you're suggesting. He was quite right to defend Frances on the basis of what she told him, and he had no reason to disbelieve her until evidence came along that gave him reason to do so, at which point her time was up. If you want to ascribe to him the failure to have hindsight in advance, go ahead - but that's not very reasonable of you.

Well she did - and every other member of the party who went out and defended her.

Being broken back up into the regional model is not a name change. Though I take your point, it hasn't happened yet.

There was an Ipsos on the 6th December last year and a B&A on the 13th December 2016. They might have 2017s last polls out in the next fortnight
