FG has not had their convention yet, i would expect JOM will join M and MM to stand for FG in Mayo and JOM will also take votes in Castlebar especially GAA votes. If any FF TD be in trouble i would think it would be DC, since Lisa was elected he has being pushed out of the limelight and the increasing limelight and work of MM but would expect FF 2 and FG 2.

Big news from Mayo today is that former Mayo great Dillion is in talks about putting his name forward to contest the FG selection convention, from Ballyheane just outside Castlebar the same area as Lisa Chambers, a FG man, it would be a major coup for FG and it would put FG nailed on for 2 seats and a chance of a third seat.

The Charleton report tonight means the election could be back on. It is not just what he said but the way he said it. No doubt the Establishment will pull sub judice in the Dáil but either he goes or Leo does.

It is more of a shambles the GS and the Guard in question that he is disrespectful to his badge and should be thrown out of the GS , but can't see how it impacts on a GE being on again

He got 1574 or 2.47% first pref. in the last GE, it was not bad for his first time and would not have being that well known before the GE
