Recently, while taking a break from rugby-watching on TV, I considered the possibility of standing for the Dail. The Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown constituency is interesting this time around; it has been reduced from a five-seater to a four-seater.
    btw:
    That's two constituencies George:

Assuming he means Dun Laoghaire it would be hard to know who he's knock out should he win- presumably MMOC.

That statement us based on the rather spurious theory that anyone is the slightest bit interested in anything he has to say.

Can't stand him. I listen to Moncrief on way home from work. If I have to go out again later the radio is often still on newstalk when I turn on the car. For those few seconds I hear Hook I feel like tearing off my ears.

I hope Hook runs, to get taste of what people think of him, he will go down like a lead balloon.

Denis already has a candidate lined up for the next person to take over from Bilbo Baggins.

    A former PD.

That the possibility of Hook or his ilk are even being seriously spoken about given his zero community activity as a political activist shows the sorry state of certain sections of Irish Politics.
