The Republicans held on to a congression seal in a special election yesterday [ 2/7]. However, their margin of victory was slashed from 72/28 last november to 52/48 by an Iraq veteran running on an anti-war ticket. Anything below a 10% victory for the GOP was considered a disaster in this heavily Republican district.
