National Independent Party - A New Party in Ireland

Saw this in the Examiner Breaking News section:

New National Independent Party launched | Irish Examiner

This is the new party's website:
    National Independent Party

Firstly the home page is very difficult to read due to the colour scheme. Secondly the author of the website appears to have swallowed a thesaurus and suffered severe indigestion. Getting beyond this it seems to be a pro-EU, pro free market party big on transparency. The problem is that everybody is big on transparency nowadays, at least they are big on talking about it even if they do little to implement more transparent structures. To be honest I don't see the unique selling point of this grouping which will set them apart. Their policies outwith tranparency are the same old airy-fairy guff about respecting the environment, promoting agri-business etc. etc. The same stuff every single other politiciain comes out with.

Who is behind this and why is it so bloody uninspiring?

The site is the exact same format as Sli Nios Fearr. Why a new party if it's just Sli Nios Fearr launching again under another name? Or what's the distinction?

Mostly importantly what's their position on flouride?

These small attempts of change always seem to fail. Last year the ''Irish Democratic Party'' created a big policy document and had started meeting before that too was taken out by the tide.

An awful lot of very vague policies and aspirations there without spelling out a single coherent method of implementation or indeed even what exactly it is they would implement.

While they talk about Capitalism and a fairer tax system it still does not say what type of system, how much they think people should pay, or indeed where they stand on current taxation levels.

I am also rather dubious about the whole "reclaiming our natural resources" thing, it is so vague as to be anything your having yourself on this issue.

The whole thing seems to be like reading a very long politicians answer, you are no wiser at the end of it than at the beginning.

As for all the claptrap about "reform" and "transparency" I would like to know what reform they intend implementing because just saying reform is only empty rhetoric and how will they ensure greater transparency?
