    Graduate elections to the Seanad.

Should TCD and NUI graduates have the right to elect Senators?

I'm a graduate of UCC myself but still consider this to be highly undemocratic. Why should a privileged group have additional representation in the national parliament?

That said, I don't know whether the most ethical thing to do would be to abstain or vote for someone who will work for the less privileged.

Maybe I need a priest rather than an internet forum.

The University panels should either stay the same or be abolished altogether. But seeing as how these panels have served us (and the calibre of parliamentarians compared to the average Senator), the status quo would seem to be fine by me, and if is ain't broke..
Ireland interests are best secured within a more dynamic EU. Vote YES to Lisbon.
