Sein Fein and Fianna Fail a Credible Coaltion Government

Ok before it's sent to the zoo don't be too hasty. Is it possible that both Parties could find some common ground? Firstly, is Mehole moving Fianna Fail to a more anti-European position, similar to SF's position. Last week, Mick McGrath criticised Micheal Noonan for not succeeding in getting a write down on Irish debt, something a kin to SF's position. Of course both Parties have a recent past that is unsavory but the Republican ideals shared by both parties do come from the same gene pool. Maybe, it's an impossible dream as both parties are fishing in the same pond.
Fine Gael's new party slogan :Er, what year was that? Circumstances have, you know, changed a bit.

I think you answer your own debate in the last sentence.

That would be political suicide for SF.

FF is toxic; look at what happened the Greens!

If SF has any sense they'll stay well away.

I wouldn't rule it out. But would Sf want to be tainted with the likes of FF or vise versa. I think that FF will perhaps make a modest comeback, maybe even in the low 20's percentage wise. FF's future lies in propping up a future FG government.

No propping up FG would be political suicide. SF can't keep running, sometime it will have to go into power but with its strongest hand.

At the moment I wouldn't touch SF with a barge pole. Give them 20 or 30 years and we’ll see, in the meantime let them show some commitment to true democracy and not just to the pursuit of power.

And which one do you see as being the major partner in this arrangement?

Whatever about "Sein Fein", Sinn Féin shouldn't touch them with a very tall Pole.

Anyway, now that their Trojan Horse has been rumbled by Marty, they will have to try a new line:
