Sinn Fein to support FG/Lab/Greens to elect FF CC?

I am hearing intriguing rumours that Sinn Fein have agreed to support the election of an un-named west of Ireland Fianna Fail TD as Ceann Comhairle next Thursday.

The FF TD is in his 50's and has been consistently overlooked for a cabinet seat.

I understand that the agreement with SF is soley related to the CC position as their objectives and FG's objective happily coincide on this issue.

In all fairness White Horse I can't possibly imagine that you have any confidants in SF that would share even the steam of their piss with you.

    You are correct.

The rumours do not originate from Sinn Fein.

So which party does the source originate from?

Could equally be a reason Ruairi Quinn wouldn't reject it. He is now 7-4 on Paddy Power.

Another unfounded rumour, a figment of your imagination. Why would SF even consider such a proposal, maybe another party but def not SF.
