Kenny & Harney have lengthy meeting tonight

Kenny & Harney have lengthy meeting; Harney considers options

The leader of the Progressive Democrats, Mary Harney, has had a lengthy meeting with Enda Kenny this evening to discuss government formation.

A PD spokesperson said Ms Harney was acting on a pledge she had made last week to consider all options.

The spokesperson said Ms Harney had listened to what Mr Kenny had to say, but it was too early to say what conclusion she might reach.

Ahh Kenny is still clinging to those last remaining shreds of straws and dignity. The innocence almost brings a tear to the eye.

I'd hardly call an hour, possibily less, as being "lenghty". Harney's spokeswoman said that Mary attended the meeting because she had told Enda last week that she would do so. Whether thats true, remains to be seen.

Nothing will come of this "meeting". Enda is obviously still dreaming, Bertie has all the cards.
