Yes but if this discrimination is to continue surely all graduates should be treated equally - it should be converted into one 6 seater that all graduates including those from UL, CIT, DIT, DCU etc. have a vote the current system is extremely flayed in the Ireland of today.Because university graduates are not a class? Free education, and all that.
It makes sense that the best educated individuals in a society have influence over representation in the Upper House of a Parliament, and allocating seats for the NUI and University of Dublin is a very efficient method of doing so.
