Greens and Fianna Fáil to enter talks

The Green Party and Fianna Fail will begin talks tomorrow morning at Government Buildings at 11am.

Politics.ie is unsure if the talks are formal Programme for Government discussions, but the Greens appear to be highly excited.

It is difficult to see how this forum can maintain any credibility when the forum's owner resorts to such trolling.

    Nice one.

Kenny's plan seems to be coming together. By still pushing the alternative with indos he has wrong footed Fianna Fail. Bert is now afraid to go in with the PD's and the indos.

A Fianna Fail/Green Gov is the best scenario for FG.

The PD's goose will be finally cooked.

And at least 3 of the greens 6 seats will fall to FG in the next election.

With Fine Gael and Labour at 71 seats, the gap to 84 will be closed with the PDs gone and the greens getting boiled.

The Greens will not lose any seats to FG at the next election. You can take that to the bank.

And why would one say that, that 3 green seats would go to FG next time, sure if the FF/GRN government is a good government then people would want it reelected and want the greens in a stronger position, so one would presume that it would be the other way around. Are the greens going to be the new pd's to FG seats.

You gonna start the 8-10 seat talk like McDowell? Dangerous territory to be in

Yes. Bailey will take Cuffe's in Dun Laoighare while Fergal Browne will take White's in Carlow Kilkenny for example.

and Paul Gogarty in Dub Mid West.

Fine Gael voters switching to the Green Party. Eh, no. To the PD's, yes, but to the mad hatters in the Greens, nah.
