What a fool. He has blown his credibility with all sides. Why didn't one of his advisors tell him to shut the ************************ up and not talk himself into an impossible position. Neither FF nor FG will trust him any more. He has come across as indecisive, all over the place, and not having a clue what he is was doing.

Hopefully scrapping co-location will be the next sacred-cow to be slaughtered. I wonder would a ministry 'sweeten the pill'?

McGrath is giving too many media interviews and giving too much info each time. For example, he told reporters yesterday that he had approaches from FF and FG, and then he revealed that a junior ministry was suggested by one of them and then he said it wasn't FF. I'm sure Enda is raging with him for revealing that.

Then he has to do a u-turn on Shannon having overplayed his hand.

Both McGrath and the Greens have shown huge naivete in the post-election negotiations. Don't think you'll find Bev or Healy-Rae or the PDs publicly setting preconditions.

If McGrath doesn't shut up, he'll talk himself out of a deal.

Maybe the ideal solution woud be to make him Ceann Comhairle, then he'd hsve to shut up
