    stability of new government

looking at the options open to bertie and enda kenny I can only presume that the next gvrnmt will be FF/PD/IND

How stable considering the mahon tribunal and Bev Coop Flynns bankrupcy could that be ?

I cant see a stable government appearing with Ahern as leader. He will be niggled at for years and the coalition partner will get itchy after a while.

Harney knows the score. Watch what she does. What she does will tell you everything

That's a fair point. The woman's been around for years and, unlike McD, knows how to play the game.

Harney is head and shoulders above mcDowell as regards insider knowledge. I wouldn't imagine Harney meeting a journalist on a Sunday morning in a car park.

What she does will reveal what the real truth is inside Leinster House, and of which i have absolute no idea. But im sure that we the public know about 10% max of the overall picture.

She gave up the leadership for a good reason im sure

Ah I think we're fairly okay. There may be less demand for houses but there will still be demand for houses.

Although I'm sure I'll eat my words, I don't think Bertie will be Taoiseach again. He'll have to stand aside for the good of the party. Harney and/or the Greens won't have the same difficulties going in with Cowen as leader. Bertie's has nothing with which to buy their loyalty anymore and he knows it.
