In fairness to Michael McDowell he was right about one thing there's a silent majority of centrist decent people in this country who come out once every five years.

I would say that even if it is exposed as being the truth, and if Bertie is exposed as being a crook from the haughey era, you'd still be the sort of fool who would support him nonetheless.
