Have the Greens had much involvement in the "Save Tara" campaign to date?
I was at one demonstration in Dublin, and it was more a SF dominated event

Ciaran Cuffe supports the movement. This would be the last political throw of the dice for the campaign. They may have to divert it based upon archaeological evidence at the moment, Green support could be crucial.

This is one of the only reasons why I support the Greens going in with FF

The other way of looking at this is 4 out of 6 Meath TDs are from Fianna Fail so the people of Meath support building the road, or at least don't care about it enough to vote for anyone else.

Too many people with significant influence in FF have interests in land on that side of the hill. Why else do you think the NRA changed the route from the preferred one to one that is 3 kms longer?

As we saw with Carrickmines, when the choice between locating the roundabout on private land, or on the Castle site, that the influence of these people takes priority every time.
