Poll of Exit Poll - Were you polled?

Anyone out there asked in the offical RTE exit poll how they voted? Is it an actual exit poll where they ask you on the steps of the polling station or is it the cheap version where they ring people and ask them if they voted that day and if so how did they vote.

I don't have any faith in the cheap phone version.

Yep, got substantially polled in the playground by a real live human called Eileen with a clipboard and everything. A little bit of how-voted and lots of why-voted.

I said this on another thread my girlfriend got called but thought it was a telemarketer and said no.

I presume they collect as much info at the polling stations as possible and use phone calls to balance the sample in terms of age, demography, geography etc.

Nope. the most interesting thing that happened when I was voting was a dog legging it when asked if he had his voting card

The sad bit was the question about whether Bertie's financial dealings in the 1990s was a factor in deciding how to vote. The answer should have been "Yes", but honestly I would have put FF down in the last few places anyway, so that's a "No". You win this round, Bertie...

Only once have I been asked my opinion in an opinion poll and that was about the Saipan incident, so it doesn't really count.
