Do FG and the Greens agree on a single policy?

FG support the M3 - Greens want the project abandoned.

FG want to allow American troops through Shannon - Greens don't.

FG support the Corrib project - Greens support Shell-to-Sea.

FG support the EU Constitution - Greens wouldn't touch it with bargepole.

Greens want swingeing taxes on air travel - FG opposed.

Greens want huge increase on petrol tax - FG opposed.

FG are pro-American and pro-Nato - Greens opposed to both.

Greens want increase in Corporation Tax - FG don't.

Greens want to stop one-off housing in rural Ireland - FG don't.

No coalition between FG and Greens can last a year. What happens when we have a referendum on the EU Constitution? Are they going to campaign on opposite sides?

Blueshirt farmers will not transfer to a party that wants to force them to allow ramblers through their lands.

    What nonsense!

Try referring to the Green Party's ACTUAL policies instead of the makey-uppy version peddled by the FFailures and that other Party - what were they called?

Re: Do FG and the Greens agree on a single policy?

FF support the M3 going through the Hill of Tara - Greens want the project abandoned.

FF want to allow American troops through Shannon - Greens don't.

FF support the Corrib project - Greens support Shell-to-Sea.

FF support the EU Constitution - Greens wouldn't touch it with bargepole.

Greens want swingeing taxes on air travel - FF opposed.

Greens want huge increase on petrol tax - FF opposed.

FF are pro-American and pro-Nato - Greens opposed to both.

Greens want increase in Corporation Tax - FF don't.

Greens want to stop one-off housing in rural Ireland - FF want to continue to stop it too, so that their Developer friends can make a packet building housing estates made of paper.

Coalition between FF and Greens will last forever because FF have no principles and will agree to anything as long as their racketeering isn't impinged upon.

What is FG stance on the US use of Shanonn airport? Two prospective rainbow TDs (O'Brocalcain and Higgins) signed a pledge not to enter government if the situation continued.

This is my favourite one. First FG do not want Ireland to join NATO. Second how is pro-American a policy and how are FG pro-American and Greens anti-American? Do the Green want to destroy the the US or something?

The FG stance is that the US should be allowed to continue to us Shannon. Labour agree with this. Their policy is below.

Furthermore, in government we will not allow Shannon Airport or other Irish facilities to be used for the prosecution of any war, or military preparation for such, outside of international law, international humanitarian law, or in breach of the Charter of the United Nations.
The US has a UN mandate in Iraq now, so clearly that means Labour believe they should be allowed to use it.

However the Greens don't. This is their policy
end the use of Shannon Airport by US military forces involved in the war in Iraq

A lot of this is factually incorrect (e.g. corporation tax), but anyway.

So if 2 parties have different policies they can't coalesce? Does this mean that if 2 parties have similar policies they should coalesce?

And the GP and FG are both of the opinion that the PDs won't have enough TDs in the 30th Dail to be recognised as a political party.
The only way to change the world is to win elections.

All parties are a shade of green now. If they get the ministries they want they'll negotiate...FG are pro EU...EU wants tax harmonisation...GP wants to get rid of VRT...all convergent...and great news for the BMW constituencies...
