It looks like Bertie will coast it !!

It seems like people have realised that its a safer option to stick with Bertie. Ask anyone without bias and they are sticking with the current government. It seems that experience is the major factor in their decision.

All the crap in the media is not being reflected on the ground seemingly !

lets call a spade a spade...the fat lady has sung this election.

We will see the best opinion poll you have had in 5 years and all you could do was tie with FG/L/G, their is a fat lady singing but it's for this government.

FG hasnt a hope in hell, FF covers all topics and issues just like FG do, add to that the fact that FF are involved in the north and are a republican party FG havent a chance.
The future wont be as kind to parties who think Ireland ends at dundalk,as the past was.

There is absolutely no evidence to support that and can be safelt called opinion posing as fact.

Anger is palpable on the doorsteps and sheer bare faced arrogance like that only fuels it.

FF have not got this election in the bag, not by a long stretch. Soundbytes are already preparing the party faithful that they may have to bite the bullet and except a deal with the Shinners. Hardly the posturing of a confident Fianna Fail.

Please remember it was FG/L that got Ireland a say in NI's affairs -Anglo Irish Agreement 1985, please also remember that our current Taoiseach voted against that agreement.

I'll ignore the obvious bait in your last comment.

Nothing against newbies, but 4 posts of similar hue in very recent past - you're pretty obviously FF press office.

Well although many would say the north isnt an issue, but FG have left out those people who think it is an issue and wether people deny it or not, there is a decent percentage of people out there who do care.
Especially with their "contract for ireland" which doesnt mean "ireland" atall but the ROI.

In a tight election, this will give FF the edge imo, and make them more appealing to a broader audiance.

FF election ironically focus's on the north as much as the ROI, FG dont know where the north is today.
