    Sunday Tribune Full Transcript Leak!!

Did anyone view the Sunday Tribune's complete copy of the Ahern Tribunal interview held in a solicitors office in April? It is the transcript that McDowell read that lead to his second bout of dithering.

This is my first post on this site and I say that to emphasis my need to communicate the complete shock of having read an interview with our Taoiseach that expresses fully his extremely shady financial background. Previous pieces across the paper media have only touched on how unusual Ahern's transaction where, but this interview exposes an entirely different, and far more likely - corrupt, financial past.

On several occasions Ahern actually appears to make attempts to hide his dealings, with O'Neill (the tribunal solicitor) petering out when it is obvious he has pushed Ahern to his inaudible flummoxed zone of saying lots of words with nonsensical structure. You get the feeling that O'Neill believes Ahern to be hiding something. It read like that of a criminal's interrogation.

The Mahon Tribunal is actually going to find this man as corrupt. And in that case we will have two Taoiseigh in a twenty year period found to be in that position. Unbelievable.

You must be working for FF dragging this up again. Was the transcript on public viewing or something?

No person who believe's that Bertie Ahern should be removed from office would bring this up again and give him another bump in the polls.

This is one of the most serious case of paranoia I have seen.

I suppose dragging it up again is not quite correct alright, but I was extremely surprised at the content of the article. I'm not sure how the Tribune received the material, but it is a verbatim extract from the Transcript, and I urge everyone to try obtain a copy of the paper to see for themselves, because - I say this honestly - it really is shockingly obvious Bertie is hiding something. And, again, O'Neill appears to know this. At one point he tells Bertie that due to his lack of clarity of these matters the Tribunal will be forced to go to a further escalation on the matters at hand - which comes across as a direct threat of future action.
