    Rogue Poll?

Was the last MRBI poll (27 April) a rogue poll? Given the massive increase in the FG vote and the unprecedented drop in the FF vote in the poll, it seems to be out of kilter with both MRBI's own previous and subsequent polls, did they just get it all wrong on a few weeks ago.

To be fair isn't 3% the margin of error?

I think 31% for FG and Labour at 10% was a bit out, just on my own impressions of the political climate. I imagine todays one is more accurate.
Ireland interests are best secured within a more dynamic EU. Vote YES to Lisbon.

All polls are rogue. Bar one. I really wish that they had been banned. They are distractions, which the media use to replace analysis and actual hard work.
We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don't know we don't know.

well in fairness.....there was a definite trend upwards for fine gael (as shown by redC and IMS polls)

so its a bit much to call it a "rogue". 28-29% is probably a more accurate reading of fine gael at the moment

ironically.....as stephen collins points out in the times......fine gael and labour have a MUCH better chance of being elected to government on 28% and 13% than they do on 31% and 10%
