    Louth Opinion Poll results.

This poll was taken a month ago. About time I leaked it here.

    Ahern FF 25.60%
    D'Arcy FG 3.10%
    Dearey GP 13.10%
    Kirk FF 10%
    Maher FF 3.10%
    McGuinness FG 12.81%
    Morgan SF 12.18%
    Nash LAB 8.43%
    O'Dowd FG 10.93%
    Short WP 0.60%

    Giving Party Totals of:

    FF 38.75%
    FG 26.87%
    LAB 8.43%
    GP 13.10%
    SF 12.18%
    Oth 0.60%

Sample Size was 570, MOE 3.75%

    Seat breakdown as follows:

    1)Ahern
    2)McGuinness
    3)Dearey
    4)Kirk

Argue away. The results are absolutely genuine.

I should add that the last 2 seats came down to the wire between O'Dowd, Morgan, Kirk, and Dearey, and that really all we can be sure of is that those 4 will fight it out for the last two seats.

A month ago was the height of the Green buzz and before Fine Gael looked as if it could actually win this thing. I would say McGunness has a seat and a O Dowd will pipe it at the last.

Dont imagine a Green gain here.
