Not true. I put ten euro on that at 7-1. The bookies didn't pay out because of the PD element though.

What was most annoying was that the FF/PD/GP option (which I had been touting here for months before the election) wasn't available from the bookies.

I used to be a member of FF up until a few years ago pre 2007 in fact. I voted for FF in 2002 and 2004, didn't give them any preferences in 2007 but gave them a no2 preference in the Euro elections in 2009.

If FG don't cope onto themselves and off themselves as a proper centre right party then I may consider voting for FF again even though I absolutely despise them. Kenny would be worse than Biffo and Gilmore is a know nothing populist.

It is hard to understand the mentality of some people including some journalists, They are going on about F.F. losing 20% and F.G. only picking up a few %, Does people not understand that hard core people who vote F.F. would happily drive the country into a sewer before the would vote F.G , That is the backward mentality that Kenny has to face
